Aimee has recently graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BSc in Marine Biology. For her undergraduate dissertation, she investigated the distribution, accumulation, and the different types of microplastics found within the Plymouth estuary, and the potential effects on the ecology. 

This September, she will be pursuing an MSc in Marine Biology at Bangor University, where she aims to continue her research on anthropogenic activities, particularly in the Arctic and Antarctic regions, with a particular focus on Marine mammals. 

Outside of university, Aimee loves scuba diving, sailing, and travelling.
