Ashmika Motee

I am a researcher with an interdisciplinary background encompassing nutrition, public health and social sciences, with a specific focus on gender and employment studies. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at Heriot-Watt University and my research investigates how the interaction between organisational structures and menstruation management shape employment experiences of individuals working in remote settings and/or challenging environments. With strong commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), I aim to foster workplaces that are diverse and inclusive, ensuring that every individual is respected and valued equally.
