Background:

Catherine is a Zoology graduate from the University of Exeter. After completing her MSc, she spent a year gaining conservation fieldwork experience across Latin America and Europe. She now specialises in science communication for conservation, promoting public awareness and engagement with environmental issues. Catherine is particularly passionate about marine plastic pollution, a topic she explored in her undergraduate dissertation focusing on plastic ingestion in seabirds as well as working as a bycatch observer and conducting diet analysis on green and loggerhead turtles in Cyprus.
