I am a recent graduate from the University of St Andrews with a BSc in Biology and Geography. I have spent the past four years specialising in marine biology and polar ecology and geography, including conducting a research dissertation about the behavioural response of marine hermit crabs to their conspecifics’ acoustics! I am ready to further my involvement in polar research by contributing my experience, knowledge and enthusiasm.
Developing polar research and protection can only be executed by a community of committed scientists therefore, I aim to create opportunities for anyone who is passionate about the polar worlds. By working to promote equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), I hope to lessen the gap of opportunities available between public and state educated students, and to further equalise accessibility for those across Northern England and Scotland.
Alongside my studies, I am a traveller, dancer, cook and recent running enthusiast!
