Background:

I am a first year PhD student at the University of Leeds, and my research focuses on measuring ice dynamic change on the Greenland Ice Sheet using satellite data (SAR interferometry and radar altimetry). I also work at the Centre for Environmental Data Analysis (CEDA), in the management and archival of environmental datasets from public-funded science.

I started out studying BSc Geology at Durham University, followed by a Double MSc in Environmental Changes at Higher Latitudes at the University of Helsinki (Finland) and the Agricultural University of Iceland. I am passionate about making opportunities in polar science accessible for everyone, whether in academia or industry.

My hobbies outside of research include climbing, board games, social dancing and language-learning (🇩🇪🇫🇷🇮🇹🇸🇪🇮🇸🇫🇮).
