I am a recent BSc (Hons) Ecology graduate from the University of Edinburgh, where I focused my research on the impacts of climate change on the growth and thermal performance of polar marine diatoms in the Arctic. My interest in marine polar ecology stems from my time studying at the University of Sydney, where I learnt about the history and complexity of the Antarctic, specifically the Antarctic Circumpolar Current.

Separate from my studies, I am a volunteer with the Scottish RSPB, helping to raise awareness of the impacts of global warming on polar and coastal seabird species. When I am not volunteering or studying extreme climates, you can find me seeking adventure elsewhere – whether that’s skydiving, travelling, or enjoying a good pint!
