Background:

I am a PhD student at the British Antarctic Survey, and my research is focused on Arctic aerosol and clouds. In particular, I look at potential sources of ice nucleating particles in the Arctic, and their impact on the local climate.

During my PhD, I spent two months studying in the Arctic at the University Centre in Svalbard, and I was fortunate to participate in the UKPN SKILLSET cruise on the Sir David Attenborough in 2024. Before that, I did an integrated Masters in Physics and Philosophy at the University of Bristol, before discovering my interest in the cryosphere. I love all things frosty – from poles to pints!
