Background:

Phoebe is working as a research assistant whilst finishing her PhD at the University of Bath. Her research focuses on atmospheric dynamics in the polar regions, using ground based and satellite observations to help better understand small scale atmospheric processes and their role in the general atmospheric circulation.

She is specifically interested in using observations to improve our understanding of our natural environment and recently spent the summer volunteering at Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre. Taking part in dolphin surveys, litter picks and helping to run the visitor centre. As a side project she has been analysing their long term data record to search for trends.

Outside research life, she enjoys being outdoors, swimming, camping and exploring new places in her campervan called Squid.
