I am a PhD student based at Bangor University. My project focuses on understanding the dramatic sea ice loss in the Arctic, which is warming faster than the rest of the Earth. I will be looking at the stratification in the Arctic Ocean using observations, understanding the circulation within the Arctic Ocean, and further looking at the ice-ocean-atmosphere feedbacks to evaluate the increasing risks of rapid Arctic and global climate change.
