- Member-At-Large, 2023-24
Background:
I am a first year PhD student at the University of Exeter in the climate science group. My main research focuses on Antarctic and Arctic sea ice change, the drivers behind them and predicting and simulating their extent in the near future. I came from a geography and oceanography background, having my undergraduate degree at Durham and my masters in Southampton. My research focuses on the modelling aspects of polar science, but I am open to learning more about the fieldwork and lab work relating to polar research. My main aim is to work in polar research institutions after my PhD.
My main hobbies include photography ( in particular drone photography), hiking, travelling and cycling.
