I am in awe of the natural world, and with this passion comes a responsibility to help protect our planet’s last wild places. That is why I am currently studying Physical Oceanography with the long-term goal of becoming a polar scientist.

I’m particularly interested in ice-ocean-atmosphere interactions and in the role of polar oceans in large-scale climate variability and I’m hoping to pursue a PhD in this field in the future.

I am also a freelance science and travel writer with a passion for exploring wild places, learning from nature, and protecting our planet.
