Background:
Linnet is a PhD student at the University of Liverpool. Her background is broadly marine environments and ecosystem functioning, having done her BSc at the University of Plymouth, and then her MSc at the University of Exeter, but she has always had a passion for polar seabirds. She is interested in the functioning of polar ecosystems and the impacts of climate change on polar environments. Her PhD research focuses on polar seabirds’ ability to adapt and respond to environmental change.
Linnet is enthusiastic about communicating polar science, and engaging the public with current research, and how they can make an impact in conservation.
In her spare time, Linnet enjoys hiking, swimming, climbing, etc., really anything that can be down outside and with her spaniel.
