Background:

I’m a third year PhD student, at the British Antarctic Survey, working on understanding how zooplankton migration patterns may be aiding carbon sequestration in our oceans.

Prior to starting my PhD, I graduated with a BSc in Biological Sciences with study abroad (university of Queensland) from the University of Exeter. I then went on to a Masters by Research degree at the University of Exeter where I focused on the impacts of microplastics. Specifically, I looked at the impact ingestion of microplastics may have upon native sea squirts.
