Background:

Victoria Dutch is a PhD Student at Northumbria University, having previously studied a BSc. in Environmental Sciences at UEA and an MSc. (Res). in Polar and Alpine Change at the University of Sheffield. Their current research looks at snow and wintertime carbon cycling in the Canadian Arctic Tundra, using both in situ measurements of snow, soil properties, and carbon flux and the Community Land Model. Victoria is an EDI officer for the UK Polar Network (alongside Madeline Anderson) and member of the Equity and Diversity in Geosciences (EDiG) Resources Group.
